Job Summary
This leadership role involves the comprehensive management and strategic direction of the Customer Information Systems department within a major European banking IT service provider. The Head of Department will be responsible for the full operational steering of the unit, including resource, cost, and budget planning, while ensuring the end-to-end delivery of internal products and processes. A key focus is implementing the divisional strategy by defining and executing concepts, coordinating projects, and representing the subject area to clients and internal stakeholders, including top management. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in IT, preferably software development, deep knowledge of project execution and testing methodologies, and proven leadership potential, coupled with entrepreneurial thinking and resilience in challenging situations.

Education
Completed business administration or IT-related degree (e.g., Business Informatics, Computer Science) or comparable qualification
Experience
- Minimum seven years of relevant professional experience in the IT environment
- Professional experience in software development is desirable
- Experience in leading (technical or disciplinary) software development or project teams with result responsibility is desirable

- The department is exclusively located in Münster, although initial location options mentioned Frankfurt am Main and Hannover. Close and cooperative collaboration with all units in the core banking environment is required.
