Job Summary
This role is centered on the integration and deployment of software units for new IBMS releases. The Software Integration Engineer will be responsible for building new releases, installing and testing them on reference and test systems, and executing comprehensive regression tests. A key part of the role involves supporting test automation efforts, managing bug reports, assisting with root cause analysis, and actively participating in the modernization and maintenance of CI/CD processes and toolchains. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, coupled with professional experience in system integration, testing, and familiarity with Linux scripting, virtualization, and CI/CD workflows. Excellent command of both German and English is required, alongside strong knowledge of networking and specific integration tools like Jenkins and JIRA.
