Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and visionary Network Researcher to join Huawei's European Research Institute in Zurich, focusing on High Performance Computing (HPC) Network technology. You will be instrumental in defining the development direction and key technologies for next-generation communication, computing, and storage networks. Your day-to-day work involves conducting innovative research into micro/macro architecture, accelerator chips, systems, and interconnection protocols to overcome performance and scalability limits of traditional compute platforms. A core focus will be optimizing network chip architecture and computing hardware infrastructure based on data center service features. Candidates must hold a PhD in Computer Science or a related field, possess a strong background in interconnection networks and computer architecture, and demonstrate a proven publication record in relevant peer-reviewed venues. The role requires excellent analytical skills and the ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a cross-disciplinary, English-speaking research environment.
