Job Summary
This is a pioneering opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to establish and lead a brand-new, state-of-the-art Lightning Protection department within COPLA Burg GmbH, located in the Düsseldorf Industrial Park. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the unit from the ground up, taking on responsibility for planning, testing, and maintaining modern lightning protection systems. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating and deploying the assembly team, ensuring strict adherence to relevant standards (e.g., DIN EN 62305, VDE), providing technical consultation to clients, and managing quality, safety, and deadlines for project documentation and handover. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with prior experience in lightning protection or a strong desire to specialize, offering a unique career boost by actively designing processes and building a key team in a future-proof sector.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering or technical training (e.g., Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Lightning Protection Installer) with further qualification as a Technician/Master
Experience
- Professional experience in lightning protection or high motivation to specialize in this field
- Experience in project management or construction site management
- Team-oriented work approach
