Job Summary

This role involves hands-on technical work focused on the development and testing of optical measuring devices. The Electronics Technician will be responsible for the complete mechanical and electronic assembly of optical measuring device prototypes, including hardware adjustments on pre-series units. Key tasks include building permanent test fixtures, conducting device testing, and performing troubleshooting and repairs on prototypes, circuit boards, and pre-series devices. A significant part of the job involves populating prototype circuit boards and supporting the schematic and layout development for experimental and prototype boards. The ideal candidate will have a formal qualification as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems or equivalent, possess good written and spoken German and English skills, and demonstrate an interest in modern, agile development methods within an industrial setting.
