Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Patent Attorney specializing in Physics, Process Engineering, or Materials Science, joining one of Europe's leading Intellectual Property firms. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of industrial property rights, particularly patents and designs. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising clients, representing them before the European Patent Office (EPO) and the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), and drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications nationally and internationally. You will also conduct patent searches, prepare expert opinions on patent rights, and mentor junior staff and patent engineers. This position requires excellent analytical skills, the ability to quickly grasp complex technical and legal issues, and fluency in both German and English, offering significant professional development and potential for future association within the firm.
