Job Summary
This role involves supervising and coordinating railway infrastructure construction sites, focusing specifically on signaling and control technology (LST) within the German rail network (DB InfraGO AG). The successful candidate will act as the primary contact for project management, ensuring that construction firms deliver services according to contract specifications, budget, and schedule. Key responsibilities include rigorous monitoring and documentation of construction progress, approving invoices, managing change requests, and ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations, fire protection, and accident prevention guidelines, particularly for work performed 'under the rolling wheel.' The position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or Industrial Engineering with an Electrical Engineering focus, and either current certification as a Railway Construction Supervisor (LST) or the willingness to complete a 30-month qualification program. The role is split approximately 70% on-site and 30% in the office, requiring flexibility for night, weekend, and holiday shifts, alongside regional travel.
