Job Summary
This is a unique opportunity for a Research Associate, with the goal of pursuing a doctorate, to join the Institute of Semiconductor Technology at TU Braunschweig. The successful candidate will work on the pioneering concept of “Distributed Metrology,” a field recently funded by the exclusive Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Professur program. Day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting experimental research on new gas control solutions for integration into gas/chemical microsensors, defining and assembling experimental set-ups, and miniaturizing promising concepts into microdevices. The role requires strong involvement in microsensor design, fabrication, and testing, collaborating closely with experts in clean-room processing (nitride, silicon, hybrid) and micro-nano metrology. The position offers significant international exposure, including the opportunity for research stays at the University of Barcelona, allowing the candidate to shape the future of distributed sensing within a world-class research environment.
