Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping and maintaining the IT infrastructure for the Flensburg Chamber of Skilled Crafts. The System Administrator will participate in planning, implementing, and further developing IT projects, focusing on virtualization, cloud integration, and IT security. Daily tasks include the administration and maintenance of core IT infrastructures, specifically Microsoft Active Directory/Entra ID and Windows Server, managing fileservers, print servers, and administering the document management system (d.velop). The successful candidate will also provide crucial First- and Second-Level support to users, manage endpoint configuration, ensure smooth operations via software distribution and patch management, and uphold strict IT security and data protection requirements. Candidates need a degree in Computer Science or equivalent vocational training, deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies, and experience with virtualization and network technologies.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or a degree in Computer Science or a comparable field

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT infrastructure administration and maintenance
  • Foundational knowledge in Microsoft technologies like Active Directory and Windows Server
  • Experience with virtualization solutions and network technologies
  • Experience in providing user support (First- and Second-Level)
