Job Summary

This role is the technical backbone for electricity trading, focusing on the data-driven management of a Virtual Power Plant (VPP) located in Hamburg or Husum. The Data Manager will be responsible for planning, integrating, and optimizing decentralized generation units, storage, and controllable loads using complex interfaces (such as MQTT, Modbus, and REST). A core function involves ensuring the quality and availability of real-time and measurement data for operational decision-making, including data-based optimization of plant operation considering market prices, forecasts, and grid stability. Candidates must possess deep IT understanding, including proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), API handling, and experience with VPP operations or direct marketing of decentralized energy assets. This position requires active participation in shaping the energy transition through intelligent technology and managing regulatory compliance (e.g., Redispatch 2.0).
