Job Summary
This leadership role involves heading and managing the IT business unit, ensuring the seamless operation of the entire IT infrastructure for the District Office. Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and monitoring IT projects and activities, enforcing security standards and data protection guidelines, and acting as the IT Security Officer. The successful candidate will also manage budget planning and control for the IT sector, lead and develop the IT team, and serve as the main point of contact for internal departments and external service providers. This position requires strong leadership, expertise in network technology and IT security, and experience in public administration IT environments, offering a challenging role with flexible working hours and opportunities for professional development.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification, or equivalent professional experience. Certification in IT Architectures (e.g., Togaf) is desirable.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a leading position in the IT sector
- Experience in public authority or administrative institutions (ideally)
- Experience in budget planning and control
- Experience in project management
- Experience in the establishment and operation of IT architectures
