Job Summary

This role involves the planning, development, and optimization of PLC programs, focusing specifically on complex X-ray systems for non-destructive testing (NDT) and quality assurance. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions, integrating industrial networks (such as OPC-UA, Profinet, and Profisafe), and conducting system commissioning both in-house and at international customer sites. A key part of the job is training operators and supporting production ramp-up, while also contributing to the continuous development of automation concepts. The ideal candidate holds a degree or training in Electrical or Automation Engineering, possesses deep knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal, and demonstrates strong communication skills and a willingness to travel internationally.
