Job Summary

This key position involves serving as the technical lead for solar Off-Grid and Hybrid energy systems, primarily deployed in Africa. The Technical Specialist/Engineer will be responsible for developing customized energy solutions, ensuring technical concepts, system planning, and documentation are robust and accurate. Day-to-day tasks include creating technical drawings, bills of materials, and documentation for PV, generator, and battery storage systems, as well as evaluating and integrating new technologies. Success in this role requires a background in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energies, coupled with professional experience in planning and designing PV or electrical systems, and specific knowledge of Off-Grid/Hybrid architectures. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact by bringing electricity to regions without grid access, working in a small, collaborative team with international projects and occasional travel.
