Job Summary

This role is seeking an experienced IT Administrator specializing in Linux systems to manage and maintain robust server environments. Key responsibilities include the administration of Linux server environments, operation and maintenance of data center infrastructures, and scripting for operational efficiency using languages like Bash and Python. The administrator will also be heavily involved in virtualization, automation (using tools like Ansible), and implementing cloud solutions, utilizing container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate must possess solid experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers, strong knowledge of network security, and proficiency with distributions like RedHat and SLES. Excellent German language skills (C1 minimum) and a willingness to travel are prerequisites for tackling challenging projects in dynamic IT environments.
