Job Summary
This Digital Transformation Manager role is crucial for advancing the energy transition by enabling teams at 50Hertz to develop fast, efficient, and IT-compliant digital solutions for daily processes. Operating as a key interface between business departments and IT, you will actively and independently shape one of the most important digitalization platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include the technical leadership of the Product Team for the Agile Apps Platform (based on OpenShift and Python web applications) and coordinating requirements between various business units and IT. This involves ensuring compliance with unified security and rights concepts, especially when utilizing cloud services like Databricks for data analysis and Machine Learning. The ideal candidate possesses a Master's degree in relevant fields, strong expertise in designing efficient IT processes, and practical experience with Python for data analysis within the energy sector. Excellent communication skills in both German and English are mandatory to drive pragmatic solutions.
Required Skills
Education
Master's or Diploma degree in (Business) Informatics, (Business) Engineering, or natural sciences with relevant professional experience, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in Python for data analysis and developing simple applications in the energy industry environment
- Experience in the field of Self-Service and Citizen Development (Advantageous)
- Knowledge of the operation of electrical power grids (Advantageous)
- Programming experience (Advantageous)
