Job Summary
Join SWARCO, a global leader in traffic solutions, as a Field Service Technician specializing in electrical and electronic systems in the Berlin area. This role focuses heavily on the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of critical infrastructure, including traffic light systems, parking guidance systems, and e-mobility products. Day-to-day activities involve setting up and commissioning new traffic light systems and networks, creating site surveys, and conducting customer acceptance tests. A key component of the role is participating in a rotating on-call duty schedule. The ideal candidate possesses a background as an electrician or mechatronics technician, is comfortable using IT tools and network technology, and is proficient in German. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Electrician, or comparable qualification as a certified electrician
Experience
- Professional experience as an electrician, mechatronics technician, or comparable electrical qualification
- Experience with EDV and IT tools
- Experience in field service or external customer interaction (implied by 'Außendienst')
