Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious IT and Data Platform Specialist who will act as the primary contact and enabler for business units regarding IT and Data Science within the data platform context. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and maintaining connectors for data source integration (e.g., relational databases, object storage, streaming systems), performing application management for platform components like Kafka and analysis tools (patching, user management, incident resolution), and providing First-Level Support for Kafka, ML Ops, and Kubernetes-based applications. The specialist will also analyze and advance the data platform's IT product portfolio and manage internal and external communication interfaces. Key requirements include a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, experience managing complex IT systems, knowledge of data integration and platforms (Kafka, Data Lake/Warehouse), proficiency with Linux and basic SQL, and a strong understanding of IT Service Management (Incident/Change/Release).
