Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Development Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering within the dynamic field of shipbuilding and marine technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, development, and construction of electrical energy supply and marine technology systems. Key daily tasks include the independent design and integration of complex electronic and mechatronic systems, specification and procurement of necessary electrical equipment, and performing conceptual planning and comparison for electrical power generation and distribution, balancing both technical feasibility and commercial viability. The position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, coupled with fluent German and good English skills. Ideal candidates will also bring knowledge of S7 PLC control, EPLAN, electrical drive systems, or EMC testing, and thrive in a communicative, team-oriented environment, contributing to cutting-edge technological progress in maritime development.
