Job Summary

This role involves developing software applications specifically for robot-assisted laser manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing object-oriented software architecture using LabVIEW and acting as a key contact for software architecture and design patterns. Day-to-day tasks include programming software modules to control various hardware components, particularly in Motion Control/Robotics and Digital/Analog I/O systems. Collaboration with colleagues to streamline software development and participation in project teams analyzing and implementing hardware for automated assembly of optical components and lasers are also core duties. This position requires a background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics, coupled with strong expertise in modular and object-oriented programming within the LabVIEW environment, along with proficiency in source-code management and database handling.
