Job Summary

This role involves taking ownership of the development of specific (sub-)functions within the mobility sector. The Function Developer will be responsible for creating function documentation and safety concepts in adherence to the ISO 26262 standard. Key daily tasks include planning, executing, and evaluating testing and trial procedures, deriving corrective actions for optimization and error resolution, and specifying function modules for software implementation. Success in this position requires a background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Control Engineering, coupled with practical experience in modeling and simulation using MATLAB/Simulink. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of development processes, particularly the V-Model and functional safety according to ISO 26262, ensuring timely and specification-compliant implementation while collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners.
