Job Summary
This role is for a highly responsible and trustworthy IT Specialist / System Engineer to join a pioneer in train door systems manufacturing in Kassel. The successful candidate will be crucial in actively modernizing the production-related IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability and future viability through solution-oriented thinking and strong analytical skills. Day-to-day tasks include managing and maintaining server and network infrastructure, supporting IT management in security, data protection, and compliance, and collaborating closely with IT leadership and external service providers. The position requires extensive experience in Windows and Linux administration, familiarity with Microsoft 365 Enterprise systems and cloud solutions, and deep knowledge of system and network administration technologies from vendors like Fortinet, Cisco, and VMware. Education
Completed specialized vocational training or comparable qualification
Experience
- Extensive experience in the administration of Windows and Linux environments
- Experience in conducting IT projects and in project management
- Professional experience with the basic principles and technologies of Microsoft 365 Enterprise System world and cloud solutions
- In-depth knowledge in system and network administration
