Job Summary

This key leadership position involves shaping the future of mechatronic product development, leading a dedicated team of approximately 40 employees. The Director is responsible for ensuring innovative product solutions are realized efficiently, cost-consciously, and on schedule, while maintaining the highest technical quality. Day-to-day tasks include disciplinary leadership of the mechatronic product development department, steering all development projects (including budget, resource, and schedule planning), and defining new development projects supported by business cases. A core mission is to develop and implement a strategy for globalizing the company's development competencies, optimizing processes, and enhancing controlling and reporting. The ideal candidate possesses an engineering degree, extensive leadership experience in development, deep mechatronics knowledge (mechanics, electrics/electronics, software), and proven expertise in project, change, and development management. Excellent English skills and international travel readiness are prerequisites for success in this global role.
