Job Summary

The Brandenburg State Parliament is seeking a Scientific Officer to join its Committee Service, specifically for the 8/1 "Lessons from the Corona Pandemic" commission. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the commission's work by preparing and organizing meetings, drafting and processing session documents, and providing analytical minutes. You will also be responsible for advising commission members, conducting extensive research on information sources, and preparing expert opinions. A key part of your contribution will be drafting the commission's final report and engaging in public relations. This position requires a strong academic background in life sciences or medicine, coupled with expertise in medical virology and infectious disease epidemiology, and a keen understanding of political contexts.
