Job Summary

This role involves managing and developing IT applications within the Campus Management area for the TU Hamburg data center, which provides essential IT services for research, teaching, and administration. The IT Application Manager will be responsible for the conception, planning, and continuous development of data exchange automation between distributed systems, including Campus Management (CM), eLearning, and ECIU platforms. Key day-to-day activities include providing first and second-line support for data exchange issues and administering the IT applications within the Campus Management domain, such as the TU Service Portal. Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a MINT field, coupled with strong analytical skills, pronounced service orientation, and the ability to systematically analyze IT requirements to develop solution-oriented approaches. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MINT (Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, and Technology), or a comparable field of study, or equivalent abilities and experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning and controlling Campus Management systems (CM, ECIU)
  • Experience with complex data networks
  • Experience in programming or scripting languages
  • Experience in a university environment (advantageous)
