Job Summary
This role at the Police Headquarters of Upper Bavaria South in Rosenheim focuses on maintaining and operating critical statewide IT and communication systems for the Bavarian Police, with a special emphasis on voice communication systems and databases. The successful candidate will provide qualified second-level support, conceptualize and optimize VMware platforms and Microsoft server landscapes, and monitor system performance. This position offers the chance to work independently and collaboratively on IT projects, developing innovative solutions for mission-critical areas. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Diploma in Computer Science or a comparable degree with significant computer science components
Experience
- Professional experience in operating IT systems within large Windows domains
- Experience with VMware and Windows Server environments
- Experience with network technology and web technologies
- Experience with backup and replication, specifically Veeam
- Experience with interfaces between IT systems

- Consent to and successful completion of a reliability check (pursuant to Art. 60a Para. 5 PAG) is required. Candidates for civil servant status must not have completed their 45th year at the time of appointment. Position is eligible for part-time work, subject to operational needs.
