Job Summary
This role involves managing crucial construction projects across all phases of the HOAI (German Fee Schedule for Architects and Engineers) related to water resource management, ensuring the continuous supply of fresh, clean drinking water to approximately 80,000 people. The successful candidate will be responsible for the new construction and renovation of essential infrastructure, including springs, wells, waterworks, reservoirs, and pumping stations. Key tasks include coordinating all project stakeholders—such as engineering offices, construction companies, and authorities—and preparing necessary documentation for water rights permits. Applicants must hold a degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a focus on Water Management, and possess relevant professional experience in drinking water supply. The position requires deep knowledge of relevant German regulations (VOB, HOAI, WHG) and participation in an on-call rotation to secure the water supply. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a focus on Water Management, or a comparable engineering degree in Drinking Water Supply or Water and Municipal Water Management.
Experience
- Professional experience in the field of drinking water supply
- Foundational knowledge of administrative procedures in public administration (desirable)
