Job Summary
This role involves supporting the entire lifecycle management of IT systems, from initial planning and implementation through to operation and continuous optimization, specifically focusing on automation and endpoint management within heterogeneous IT landscapes. The engineer will analyze customer requirements, design technical solution concepts, and execute system installations, configurations, migrations, and rollouts. Key responsibilities include ensuring smooth IT infrastructure operation, performing 2nd and 3rd-level support, and conducting technical consulting during pre-sales and project phases, including effort estimation and solution presentations. The ideal candidate possesses initial professional experience with endpoint management systems, practical knowledge of asset and patch management, and proficiency in automation tools and VDI environments. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training or university degree in Computer Science or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Initial professional experience in planning, implementing, and supporting client and server infrastructures
- Initial professional experience with Endpoint Management Systems across the entire lifecycle
- Practical knowledge in Client and Server Management (Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, iOS)
- Experience in software packaging and distribution, and patch management
- Experience in building, operating, and optimizing VDI environments
