Job Summary

The Deutsche Bahn seeks a (Junior) Project Controller for Environmental Services to join their team in Koblenz or Mainz. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely, professional, and results-oriented planning and execution of assigned environmental projects. Day-to-day tasks involve preparing proposals for environmental projects, actively supporting clients in commissioning services, and managing interfaces with clients, authorities, and external stakeholders. The controller will also be responsible for conducting quality controls on construction sites, documenting findings, initiating corrective measures, and monitoring work processes. Key qualifications include a degree or advanced training (Master/Technician) in Forestry, Environmental Planning, or Landscape Architecture, coupled with strong knowledge of environmental and species protection regulations, and proficiency in relevant IT and GIS systems. The ideal candidate demonstrates economic thinking, operational understanding, and exceptional commitment to new environmental topics.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree or advanced training as Master/Technician in Forestry, Forest Science, Environmental Planning, Garden and Landscape Construction, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in Forestry, Environmental Planning, or Landscape Architecture (if no relevant degree/training is held)
  • Experience applying relevant environmental laws, ordinances, and regulations
