Job Summary

This role requires a dedicated Windows and Azure Operations Specialist responsible for the continuous operation and maintenance of Windows infrastructures, spanning both Microsoft Azure cloud and on-premise environments, specifically supporting GIS operations. Key daily activities include analyzing and resolving system disruptions, optimizing performance, and executing routine monitoring and patch management. A significant part of the role involves supporting the planning and implementation of robust backup and disaster recovery strategies, as well as assisting in the conception and setup of authorization concepts for administrative access. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Computer Science or a comparable IT qualification, coupled with practical experience in Windows Server 2022/2025 administration and Microsoft Azure.
