Job Summary

This role offers an opportunity to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Penzberg through temporary employment, focusing on critical laboratory and production support tasks. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for preparing, completing, and calibrating fermentation, harvesting, and purification systems. Daily duties involve supporting development and production processes, including sample collection and processing, and preparing media and buffers. The role also encompasses general lab activities such as sample labeling, distribution, infectious waste handling (collection and autoclaving), and meticulous cleaning and disinfection campaigns. Candidates must possess a vocational qualification in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Food Technology, strong foundational laboratory skills (weighing, dissolving, titrating), and the ability to work meticulously in a cleanroom environment. Basic IT/computer literacy and good German language skills are essential for success in this position.
