Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Patent Attorney specializing in Intellectual Property (IP) law, focusing specifically on technical inventions within Physics, Process Engineering, and Materials Technology. The successful candidate will act as a registered representative before the German Patent and Trademark Office and/or the European Patent Office. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising clients, representing them in patent and design proceedings, drafting and filing patent applications nationally and internationally, and conducting patent searches and expert opinions on patent rights. The attorney will also mentor junior staff and patent engineers. This position requires a strong scientific background, excellent analytical skills, and fluency in both German and English, offering a long-term, permanent contract with potential for early association.
