Job Summary

This full-time role in Freiburg, Germany, involves the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fiber optic and broadband connections directly at customer locations. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for configuring and setting up network components such as routers, modems, and WLAN systems, as well as analyzing and resolving technical faults. A core part of the job includes measuring and documenting fiber optic routes (NE3/NE4) to ensure network quality and stability. The ideal candidate has a completed technical or IT apprenticeship, possesses solid knowledge of IP fundamentals, and is proficient in splicing and measuring fiber optics. Experience in technical service or field service within the telecommunications/IT sector is highly desirable. This position requires strong customer interaction skills, structured and independent work, and a valid Class B driver's license, offering a stable career path in regional fiber optic expansion.
