Job Summary
This role involves specialized surveying and measurement activities crucial for modern track construction and maintenance projects across Germany and neighboring countries. The successful candidate will perform track surveying, staking, and clearance profile measurements for new construction, reconstruction, and inventory documentation. You will work closely with tamping machine operators and clients, utilizing the latest and most innovative measurement technology from Trimble, Amberg, and Leica, along with associated software. Key responsibilities include operating and maintaining equipment, ensuring smooth measurement processes, and preparing and transferring measurement data to subsequent trades. The position requires a background in track construction or surveying, familiarity with GEDO CE and Amberg IMS systems (a plus), and a willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, due to the nature of railway operations. Mobility and basic English skills are also essential.
