Job Summary
This role involves strategic oversight and quality assurance within the field of vocational education and training for the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor, Energy, and Climate Protection in Brandenburg. The Policy Officer will be responsible for the strategic steering and further development of regional structural projects, including educational centers in Lusatia and the Rail Technology Campus Havelland, as well as the Future Center Brandenburg. Key tasks include managing fundamental policy issues, participating in committee work, and driving the 'Competence Region Lusatia' strategy process. The ideal candidate possesses a scientific university degree (Master's level or equivalent) in relevant fields like Administration, Law, or Social Sciences, coupled with strong analytical, strategic, and negotiation skills. This permanent position offers a challenging public service role in Potsdam with flexible, family-friendly working hours and the option for up to 40% remote work.
Required Skills
Education
Completed scientific university education (Master's, Magister, or Diploma) in Administration Science, Law, Social Science, Political Science, or Cultural Science, or equivalent
Experience
- Professional experience in policy related to vocational education and training and professional orientation
- Professional experience with the Vocational Training Act and the Crafts and Trades Regulation Act
- Several years of experience in public administration (advantageous)
