Job Summary

This role involves serving as a key team member within the Central Service and Organization department, driving both digitalization initiatives and core organizational services for the Stormarn district administration. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting various departments on job evaluation, conducting comprehensive organizational studies, and performing staffing measurements for both civil servants and tariff employees. A significant component of the role is coordinating and advising on the implementation of various digitalization projects, often involving the coordination of external partners. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in public administration or a relevant economic/IT degree, coupled with experience in organizational processes, project management methodologies, and job evaluation practices. This position offers an unlimited contract, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to shape the future organizational landscape of an economically strong German district.

Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed training as an Administrative Specialist in Municipal Administration and Advanced Employee Course II, OR Successfully completed career examination in General Services (2nd career group, 1st entry level), OR Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or Digital Project Management.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the public sector (ideally)
  • 2 years of professional experience in the public sector (required if holding a relevant economic/IT degree)
  • Professional experience in job evaluation
