Job Summary

This role is for a Head of Technology to lead the technical department of Texplast GmbH, a successful 30-year veteran in PET plastic recycling known for high-quality products. The incumbent will be responsible for the organizational, personnel, and technical leadership of the department, ensuring smooth operations utilizing modern and proven technology. Core duties include planning and controlling maintenance processes, ensuring high plant availability, developing technical improvements to reduce downtime, and managing complex investment projects. The role also encompasses facility management, external contractor oversight, maintenance KPI reporting, and fostering technical talent development and training. Candidates must possess an engineering degree or equivalent technical certification, coupled with proven professional experience, strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and a hands-on mentality.
