Job Summary

This exciting, interdisciplinary role seeks an R&D Specialist or Engineer to drive the development of new technologies, specifically within the field of in-vitro diagnostics, taking products from initial concept through to market readiness. As a core member of a diverse project team comprising engineers, developers, and scientists, you will be responsible for technical coordination, ensuring seamless integration across all disciplines. Key daily tasks include planning customer workshops, preparing project milestones, and acting as the crucial link between client requirements and technical feasibility. You will apply your scientific and technical understanding hands-on, developing efficient test procedures for prototypes and serial devices, and diving deep into technical challenges related to mechanics, optics, electronics, thermodynamics, and liquid handling. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), possesses strong organizational and analytical skills, and demonstrates excellent communication abilities in both German and English.
