Job Summary

This role is a crucial Specialist Engineer position within the Planning and Construction department of the Mainz Municipal Building Management, focusing on electrical systems for municipal high-rise construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical project coordination of electrical equipment according to HOAI standards, acting as the client/owner representative. Day-to-day tasks involve negotiating and coordinating with municipal offices, users, and superior authorities regarding planned functions, quality, costs, and deadlines. The role also includes administrative duties, such as contributing to contract file creation and maintenance, participating in bidding processes, and managing digital data using AWARO and SAP. This position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, strong knowledge of relevant construction regulations (HOAI, VOB, etc.), and experience collaborating with municipal offices and external engineering firms on complex construction tasks, offering a stable public sector environment in Mainz.
