Job Summary
This permanent, full-time position as an IT Engineer focuses on managing and advancing the critical IT infrastructure for the municipal administration, fire department, schools, and kindergartens in Neustadt a. Rbge. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of IT systems, including drafting technical service specifications, overseeing hardware/software standards, license management, and ensuring high IT service quality. A key component of the role is leading diverse IT projects and acting as the deputy IT lead for the Administration and Fire Department sector. Applicants must hold a successfully completed university degree in Informatics or IT and demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous professional development. Desirable qualifications include prior experience in the public sector, proficiency across all levels of IT support (First to Third-Level), and expertise in data protection and security.
