Job Summary

This role is ideal for a Development Engineer specialized in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) testing, focusing on automotive electronic control units (ECUs). Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining and updating electronic software functions for automotive components, integrating new features into test benches, and executing both manual and automated system tests. A key part of the job involves commissioning, setting up, modifying, and continuously developing the test systems, alongside documenting and presenting test results to stakeholders. Candidates must possess a degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technician qualification with relevant professional experience. Expertise in HiL/SiL system testing, rest bus simulation, and knowledge of automotive bus systems (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and diagnostic tools (CANape/CANalyzer/CANoe) are essential.
