Job Summary
This role involves supporting the in-house technical department by focusing on the development, optimization, and maintenance of control software for machinery and systems. Key responsibilities include commissioning, troubleshooting, and performing regular maintenance on machine and system controls, ensuring seamless operation through rigorous testing and analysis. The specialist will also be responsible for creating technical documentation for implemented software and concepts, and ensuring communication between various control and IT systems. Candidates require comprehensive knowledge of PLC programming, automation technology, and specific software like Siemens TIA-Portal, LOGO, and WAGO, along with foundational skills in electrical engineering and bus systems. This full-time, permanent position offers an opportunity to work in an innovative environment in Merzig, utilizing expertise in automation to maintain critical operational infrastructure.

Completed technical vocational training or a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
Experience
