Job Summary

This role is ideal for an Engineer or Technician specializing in Process Control Technology (PCT) and Electrical Engineering, focusing on the planning, documentation, and implementation of complex industrial control systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed PCT planning documents like instrumentation sheets, wiring diagrams, and function charts, often utilizing the PRODOK planning tool. You will be responsible for the technical specification and selection of critical electrical components, including cables, switchgear, sensors, and actuators, while managing technical clarification and procurement processes with external suppliers. A key component of the role involves ensuring plant safety through participation in HAZOP reviews and planning specific safety devices (Z-circuits). The position requires a university degree or technician qualification in a relevant engineering field, strong knowledge of SAP, and fluent communication in German, offering the opportunity to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules, and oversee cost tracking and final acceptance testing (FAT) of control systems.
