Job Summary
This role centers on the technical execution of electrical design sub-projects, encompassing new developments, modifications, and modularization for complex machine tools. The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for the complete electrical design of control cabinets, including the selection of appropriate components such as relays, switches, and connectors. Key day-to-day tasks involve creating comprehensive electrical documentation, including circuit diagrams, terminal plans, wiring lists, and device plans. A crucial aspect of the role is technical clarification with customers, suppliers, and the manufacturing department to ensure specifications are met. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or be a state-certified Electrical Engineering Technician, bringing initial or several years of experience utilizing modern CAE tools like EPlan or E3. Strong English skills are required for communication in this technically demanding environment.
