Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Hardware and Electronics Engineer specializing in Power Electronics to join an interdisciplinary team focused on developing life-saving medical technology. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle development of high-voltage (HV) and analog electronics for defibrillators used across rescue services, clinics, and lay environments. Day-to-day tasks involve moving from initial idea generation and conceptualization through detailed circuit design, documentation, verification, and final manufacturing transfer. A key part of the role is ensuring thorough documentation, from requirements gathering to systematic test procedures, while collaborating closely with 5 to 30 colleagues. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering and possess strong knowledge of component properties, circuit development (ideally using Altium Designer), and modern lab measurement technology. Experience with hardware simulation (such as LT-SPICE) is required, and familiarity with EMC-compliant design and medical standards (like 60601-1) is highly advantageous.
