Job Summary

This role requires an experienced IT Security Engineer to serve as the operational contact for both technical and organizational data protection, supporting management and various departments in coordination with the Data Protection Officer. A significant part of the job involves planning, implementing, and monitoring advanced IT security measures, particularly within a highly classified security environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining data protection procedures, managing the central register of processing activities, and rigorous monitoring of IT systems through cross-platform event correlation. You will be responsible for reviewing and improving the technical effectiveness of implemented security solutions and contributing to the creation and updating of comprehensive security concepts and information security policies. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in IT, several years of relevant professional experience, and expertise in the ISO/IEC 27000 series and ITIL structures. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree with an information technology focus or comparable training; Certification as DSB (Data Protection Officer), DSK (Data Security Coordinator), or comparable

  • Experience and know-how in ITIL-based structures
