Join AYES Switzerland, an international engineering and technology consulting company, as a Senior Aircraft Acoustics Engineer based in Lucerne. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive acoustics analyses for aircraft, focusing on cabin noise, vibration, and exterior noise evaluation. A core function involves developing and refining sophisticated predictive models and simulations to accurately characterize noise generation and mitigation strategies. You will play a crucial part in ensuring regulatory compliance, specifically related to ICAO Annex 16, Volume 1, by preparing necessary technical evidence. Collaboration is key, as you will integrate design solutions alongside aerodynamic and structural engineering teams. Furthermore, you will participate in ground and flight-test noise activities, supporting measurement setup, data collection, and analysis. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer with deep experience in aerospace acoustics who thrives on technical challenges within a dynamic, international environment spanning Europe and the USA.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Acoustics, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (BSc/MSc/PhD)
Experience
- At least 7 years of professional experience in aircraft acoustics.
- Proven senior-level background in the field is highly valued.
- Experience correlating predictive models with test results derived from noise measurement campaigns.
- Solid understanding of interior and exterior noise topics, including relevant regulatory frameworks.
