Job Summary

This role is for an experienced System Architect passionate about leveraging database systems and cloud technologies within a modern, municipal infrastructure (Wien Digital). The professional will be responsible for implementing planned architecture, managing the design and administration of database system architectures, and consulting on the conception, migration, and implementation of new database systems. A core focus includes optimizing IT security and ensuring the performance, security, and availability of scalable system architectures. The ideal candidate will act as the primary contact for new database technologies, drive the cloud database strategy, and utilize expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and various cloud platforms to integrate new technologies into existing structures. This is a full-time, permanent position offering flexible hours and mobile work options.
