Job Summary
This role involves taking primary responsibility for designing, steering, and continuously developing the Monitoring and Event Management practice within Wien Digital, aligning closely with ITIL standards. The Service Manager will conceptualize, implement, and refine monitoring and event management systems, ensuring strategic planning and policy creation for their successful rollout. Key responsibilities include coordinating with other ITSM practices (such as Incident, Change, and Service Configuration Management) to build integrated, cross-departmental solutions. The ideal candidate possesses long-term professional experience in implementing and aligning monitoring systems with ITIL, holds an ITIL Foundation certification (ideally Specialist level), and has good knowledge of standard ITSM and monitoring tools like BMC Helix. This position offers flexible working hours, mobile work options (up to 60%), and opportunities for professional development within the Vienna Digital organization.
