Job Summary

This role is designed for a Civil or Traffic Engineer to support the planning department of Germany's national highway infrastructure operator, focusing on critical road planning and construction projects. You will be instrumental in executing future-oriented infrastructure projects, such as the 6- or 8-lane expansion of motorways, planning junctions, and supporting bridge replacement measures from conception to realization. Daily tasks involve preparing design, approval, and execution plans for expansion and conversion projects within the North Bavaria region. A significant part of the job includes coordinating plans with internal specialist departments (e.g., environmental planning, procurement) and conducting negotiations with external public stakeholders, including municipalities and water management authorities. Candidates must hold a university degree in Civil Engineering or possess equivalent professional experience, coupled with excellent German language skills (C1 minimum).
