Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Embedded Software Developer specializing in control and software functions for motor control units, serving major clients across the technology sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing functional and software requirements, designing SW architectures, and implementing these requirements using embedded C programming. A significant part of the role involves utilizing model-based development tools like Matlab/Simulink, performing source code development, and conducting thorough module and system testing, often leveraging TPT. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics and brings professional know-how in embedded systems, ideally within the automotive, rail, or aerospace industries. Required technical competencies include knowledge of CAN-Bus systems (J1939), experience with configuration management tools (SVN/PTC), and familiarity with agile development methodologies like Scrum. Success in this position requires strong collaboration skills to align requirements with external stakeholders and intermediate proficiency in both German and English.
